Investigators with the Sexual Assault Investigation Team of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have charged a man in relation to the sexual assault of a child that occurred last month in Halifax.

At approximately 5:10 p.m. a 17-year-old male was in the 1000 block of South Park Street with three other males. The three males at one point confronted and physically threatened the victim and demanded that he give them his shoes, belt and money.
