NOTICE OF APPROVAL
BY-LAW M-401 RESPECTING AMENDMENTS TO BY-LAW M-400, THE MARKETING LEVY BY-LAW
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that By-law M-401, Respecting Amendments to By-law M-400, the Marketing Levy By-law, was adopted by Halifax Regional Council on April 23, 2024.
By-law M-401 amends By-law M-400, Respecting Marketing Levy. The purpose of the amendment is to cancel any charges imposed on an operator under section 14 of this by-law for the period October 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, provided the charges accrued on a remittance value of $0.00 and to give the Treasurer or delegate the authority to waive, remove or reduce assessment fines.
The text of the amended By-law M-400 may be viewed on the Internet in the Legislation & By-law section or copies obtained from the Office of the Municipal Clerk, 1841 Argyle Street, 1st floor, Halifax between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
