    The Halifax Regional Municipality has applied to the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia for an order to close Coastal Cannapy Medical Dispensary Inc., at 2411 Agricola Street.

    At approximately 1:41 a.m. on May 9, emergency personnel responded to the area of the 2100 block of Gottingen Street to a report of a vehicle that was flipped on its side. Members determined the vehicle had struck two parked vehicles on the east side of Gottingen Street. The driver of the vehicle left the scene prior to police arrival. The collision is still under investigation.

    A Halifax Regional Police (HRP) officer was stabbed this morning while responding to a stolen vehicle call.

    At approximately 3:27 a.m. on May 8, Halifax Regional Police responded to a hold-up alarm at a business in the 2800 block of Gottingen Street. A quantity of cigarettes was taken, but no one was injured nor was a weapon used. The matter is under investigation.

    At approximately 2:26 a.m. on May 8, Halifax Regional Police and Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency responded to 5450 Inglis Street, a 15 unit dwelling. Flames were coming from the roof. Police and Fire will be on scene for much of the morning and people are asked to avoid the area.
