At 11:15 p.m. on May 4, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a male shot in the 20 block of Kennedy Drive, Dartmouth. Multiple officers responded to the scene and located a 24-year-old man from Dartmouth with a non-life-threatening gun shot wound. Officers were not able to locate the suspect at the time, however, police confirmed the suspect and victim are known to one another.

Police are currently investigating a robbery that occurred earlier this afternoon in Halifax and are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the suspect.

On May 3 at approximately 9:07 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Waverley Road in Dartmouth. A man and woman were arrested.

At approximately 8:03 p.m. on May 3, officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit, the Central Quick Response Unit and Patrol executed a search warrant in the 2300 block of Breen Avenue. A woman was arrested at that location and a man was arrested in the area of Maitland Street and Divas Lane.
