Mentor a veteran entrepreneur
POE is looking for experienced entrepreneurs or business professionals, with or without military service, who are able to provide perspective, advice and encouragement for veteran entrepreneurs. Prospective mentors possess the soft skills and empathy needed to work at the mentees' pace and are willing to commit 2-4 hours per month to the program over six months. The six-months starts after first contact with the mentee.
This opportunity is open to mentors and mentees across Canada. If geographic distance prevents meeting in-person, mentors and mentees can connect online.

2. The volunteer opportunity must address the needs of the Nova Scotian, preferably Halifax, community, and create a positive impact on the community.
3. The following are not accepted:
• Paid positions.
• Positions that charge a fee to participate.
• Positions that take place outside of Nova Scotia or are supervised from outside of Nova Scotia.
• Positions that resemble internships, either paid or unpaid.
