The more popular wedding spaces are listed below, but ceremonies are not limited to these specific areas.

  • Ferry Terminal Park *not available Summer 2019 due to construction
  • Fish Hatchery Park
  • Hemlock Ravine Park
  • St Mary’s Boat Club
  • Sir Sanford Fleming Park

How much does it cost?

It costs $85.15 + HST to book space in a park for your wedding.

Parking

Parking is first-come, first served. No reserved parking is available.
Vehicles are not permitted in the parks unless on designated roadways.

Cancellations

In the event of extreme seasonal weather conditions, HRM staff will assess the potential for damages to the facility.  If required, staff will contact the client and a refund will be issued.

Client cancellations must be received by the  Facility Scheduling Office no later that one month in advance of the booking for a full refund.

Responsibilities of Users

  • Adhere to all contractual regulations.
  • Set-up, take down, and clean-up.
  • Any damages caused to facility.

Public Gardens

Due to the impact on the fragile environment, wedding ceremonies are not permitted in the Public Gardens.
However, photography is permitted and does not require pre-booking.
