A child is in hospital after being stabbed in downtown Halifax on Sunday afternoon. At approximately 1:20 p.m., police responded to the 1900 block of Barrington Street where a 6-year-old child was found suffering from multiple stab wounds. The child was taken by ambulance to the IWK with life-threatening injuries.
