ENPolice have charged a man and a woman in relation to a disturbance where two others were sprayed with a sensory irritant early this morning in Halifax.

ENOn September 11 at 12:46 a.m. a woman was walking in the area of Wyse Road and Albro Lake Road in Dartmouth. The woman encountered a male and was assaulted and robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash. A male youth was arrested in the area and will be appearing in court to face a charge of robbery.

ENOn September 10 at 9:22 p.m., Halifax Regional Police received a call about a vehicle that was on the golf course at Brightwood Golf Course. A 30-year-old man will be attending court at a later date to face an impaired driving charge, driving with a blood alcohol over the legal limit and property damage.

ENAt 8:00 p.m. on September 9, Halifax Regional Police (HRP) responded to the Central Nova Scotia Correction Facility (CNSCF) for approximately 30 people who were protesting outside the facility. A report had been received that the protesters had been shooting fireworks at the facility and were attempting to climb the fence surrounding the property. When HRP members arrived the protesters were removed from the property at the request of CNSCF supervisors.

ENAt 7:50 p.m. on September 9, Halifax Regional Police responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred between a car and a motorcycle.
