ENAt 5:38 p.m. police responded to the 0-100 block of Inspector Court in Halifax after a resident located an injured male on their lawn. The matter is still under investigation but it is believe the 18-year-old male from Halifax failed to navigate a turn, lost control of his bike, hit the curb and then struck a vehicle that was parked in a driveway.

ENAt 12:05 a.m. on June 17, Halifax Regional Police officers responded to a report of a robbery at Southgate Drive and Ravines Drive in Bedford. Three male suspects approached another vehicle with three males inside and demanded money and cell phones. One suspect had a knife and another suspect had a baseball bat. The three suspects fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money and personal belongings in their own vehicle.

ENJust after 10 a.m. on June 16, police attended the area of 1698 Bedford Highway. A 61-year-old man was operating a ride-on lawn mower on the grounds of a church on Rocky Lake Drive. It appears that he rolled over a steep hill, which leads to the Bedford Highway. EHS attended, however, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene. Our thoughts go out to the family at this very difficult time.

ENAt 8 p.m. on June 15, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Queen Mary Dispensary located at 1534 Queen Street in Halifax. Staff reported that two men entered the business, approached a staff member, and one suspect produced a firearm and demanded staff put product in a suitcase. The suspects fled the business on foot towards Citadel Hill with an undisclosed amount of product. Then fled in a grey coloured vehicle.

ENPolice have arrested two men in relation to a rash of robberies that occurred in Dartmouth over the past several weeks. On June 15 at 4:32 p.m., on Hamilton Road in Pictou County, RCMP members arrested a 32-year-old man and a 33-year-old man, both from Dartmouth.
