Curbside collection of solid waste may not be completed in some areas of HRM today, Dec 15. Recovery will be attempted tomorrow, Dec 16. If your waste is not collected by 7 pm tonight, please bring your waste back from the curb so as to not impede snow clearing efforts. Your waste can be placed back at the curb for the start of collection at 7am tomorrow.
Update on Recovery of Missed Collection
Recovery collection of solid waste from Dec 8 may not be completed in some areas of the Western County today, Dec 12. If your waste is not collected by 7 pm tonight, please bring your waste back from the curb. Your waste will be collected on your regular collection day during the week of Dec 22. There are no bag limits for recyclables.
