Vermicomposting

Did you know that you can create healthy soil in your home from food scraps that would otherwise go into your green cart? With the help of red wiggler worms you can turn food scraps into “gardeners gold” in the comfort of your home. This workshop will teach you all about how to set up and maintain a vermicomposting bin so that the worms can create nutrient rich castings for your lawn and garden. There will also be a fun worm themed craft for kids, and one lucky participant will go home with a complete vermicomposter. Space is limited.
