A wide range of garden spaces are yours to visit and explore across the municipality. Visit the Halifax Public Gardens, one of the finest surviving examples of a Victorian Garden in North America. The gardens were founded by the Nova Scotia Horticultural Society in 1836 and were recognized as a National Historic Site in 1984. The Halifax Public Gardens is also part of Canada’s Garden Route.
