Beechville Lakeside Timberlea - Trails to Rails Assocciation

When the rail bed in the Beechville Lakeside Timberlea (BLT) area was removed, the land was recognized as excellent for trail development; for the areas where the former rail bed crossed the roadway, and for the natural greenbelts. The former rail bed converted nicely into a beautiful scenic trail - it is backed primarily on one side by water and residential or commercial development on the other. This also allows for easy access by users.

The mission of the BLT is to develop a recreational trail in a healthy environment for the benefit of this and future generations.
