Service Update:
We are continuing to ask researchers to book appointments to visit the Archives, to give us time to prepare requested material. To accommodate more researchers and schedules, we have expanded our open hours.
Reference hours by appointment
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 10am-4pm
Please contact the Archives to request an appointment or to request copies of records or reference assistance. You can book a half-day (3hr) or full-day (6hr) appointment. We can book your appointment with half-a-day's notice (e.g call first thing Tuesday for a Tuesday afternoon appointment).
Staff are available to respond to your requests Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Location
Visit the Municipal Archives at 81 Ilsley Ave, Unit 11, in the Burnside Industrial Park in Dartmouth. Look for the Municipal Archives sign at the south end of the building. We have ample free parking and a secure bike rack.
